Whitney Chapman has been teaching piano off and on for the last 22 years, and consistently for the last 10 years. She has been playing the piano since she was 6 years old, and has perfomed solos on the piano, but finds that her real enjoyment comes as an accompanist for soloists, small groups, orchestras and large choirs.
She studied music, specifically voice performance, at NAU and has had many opportunities to share her vocal talents as well.
Although Whitney loves to sing, she finds her true passion as a piano instructor, specifically to children in the beginning and intermediate stages of playing the piano. She loves classical music as well as current pop hits, and finds that learning to play those two genres are really enjoyable and beneficial to children in their beginning stages of piano instruction.
