In-Home Guitar Lessons
Why should I learn to play the Guitar?
The guitar is one of the most affordable instrument a beginner can learn to play. The guitar is often described as an instrument with a highly effective blend of the capabilities of pianos, violins and drums. It has most of the expressive melodic possibilities of a violin with a few others of its own, most of the harmonic options of a piano with a few convenient techniques that piano players might envy, and a surprising variety of percussive sounds. It can be played very loudly with amplification and very softly, making it ideal for a variety of settings. With modern technology the electric guitar has been given tons of special effects and tone control options, and the acoustic guitar retains its reputation as very mobile and ideal for travel and outdoor settings. Singing and playing the guitar is often very intuitive, but it is more than just an accompaniment instrument. The guitar has been a favorite of rock, jazz and classical shredders and virtuosi. With it’s harmonic possibilities, it is an excellent tool for songwriters and composers.
